Leadership process in an innovation team at Nokia: An analysis from the Complex Leadership Theory (CLT)

This research aims to understand how leadership processes occur in an innovation team of Nokia Networks - Brazil, through the Complex Leadership Theory. By using interpretive methodology and in-depth interviews, we found administrative function: 1) emerges according context develops a distributed way; 2) strategic alignment contribution resources are facilitators for innovation. Regarding adaptive collaborative work among project members provides shared learning environment that generates flexibility changes; there constant interactions with other Adaptive Systems idea generation new solutions. And enabling empowered development; feedback contributes creation transparent trusting environment; 3) encouraging motivates teams invest time effort finding solutions achieving goals.
